Actilastin 1000

Actilastin 1000 is a proprietary base for use in the formulation of cosmetic skin care and medical products. Actilastin 1000 is the result of research and development dedicated to offering solutions that are based on proven science. While the primary focus in the development phase was to produce a superior product for cosmetic and topical applications, future work will focus on the anti-cancer, anti-viral, and other topical/dermal applications of this advanced compound for beneficial use by the consumer.

Actilastin 1000 was developed after exhaustive research and development involving laboratory testing and human pilot trials to develop an oil/water phase cream base that will hold high levels of essential oils in suspension.

A blend of scientifically advanced ingredients, Actilastin 1000 is designed to provide a smooth base with a silky texture, while providing a high level of emollient and moisturizing qualities.

This ingredient is ideal when a firmer consistency of cream base is desired and when the emollient level needs to be at a premium level. Actilastin 1000 is versatile and lends itself to both oil-in-water and water-in-oil formulation styles. In oil-in-water emulsions it will improve product consistency and skin-feel.

The ingredients used in the advanced manufacture of Actilastin 1000 are renewable, safe and biodegradable. They are produced from responsibly sourced raw materials, which do not infringe on biodiversity and gives you sustainable formulations – today and in the future.

Current applications for Actilastin 1000:

This versatile cream base has been used as the foundation of a topical pain relief cream, an antiseptic cream base carrying high levels of essential oils, and an insect repellent formulation.

Future Applications:

Current trials are underway using Actilastin 1000 in a sun-screen formulation and a range of moisturising and anti wrinkle creams.

Clinical research has also commenced using Actilastin 1000 in combination with Australian Tea Tree Oils as the carrier base for a scientifically advanced cream to treat skin cancer due to the ability of Actislastin 1000 to penetrate subcutaneous and carry actives below the epidermis.
